Curtido is a type of lightly fermented cabbage relish. It is typical in Salvadoran cuisine and that of other Central American countries, and is usually made with cabbage, onions, carrots, and sometimes lime juice or vinegar.
1 Red Onion
1 tablespoon oregano
1 Tablespoon oil
1 Red Pepper
2 Cups Vinegar
Wash and clean all vegetables.
Place the cabbage in water, boil for a few minutes and then vote the water.
Place the cabbage in a large bowl and add grated carrots, chopped onion, oregano, sugar, red pepper, salt, water and vinegar.
We stand ready tanning refrigerate before serving.
Enjoy it with Pupusas and Salsa roja
