Pupusa is a traditional Salvadoran dish made of a thick, handmade corn tortilla.A cornmeal dough used in Mesoamerican cuisine.
4 cups Corn Flour
3 cups warm water
1 ½ tablespoon salt
2 cups cottage cheese or mozzarella cheese
Wash your hands first.
We heat a skillet or griddle in advance.
In a bowl mix the flour with warm water until the ideal consistency.
We dip our fingers in the water with oil and took a handful of flour and form a ball, flatten and add the cheese in the center.
We set up another ball and flatten equal, the two masses together and close our borders.
Then, place the pupusas in the pan or grill.
When we turn begin to light brown.
Enjoy with Curtido and Red Sauce.
