Mojito is from Mexico, but when prosecco and basil are the protagonists, it changes completely.
Prosecco is an Italian white sparkling wine, generally a dry or extra dry wine.

3 Basil sprigs

3 lime wedges or lemon juice

1 1/2 Tablespoon sugar

1 1/2 oz white tequila

2 Lemon slices.

Ice cubes

2 oz.Prosecco white sparkling wine


Grab a glass and any kind of top that can fit on the glass or Cocktail Shaker.

Add basil, sugar, lemon slice and lime juice.

Press basil, lemon slice, lime wedges and sugar into the bottom of a cocktail shaker using a muddler or the back of a spoon.

Add tequila and ice (around 30 seconds).

Shake the drink until the liquid is well-chilled.

Top the drink with white sparkling wine.

Garnish: Basil leaf and a lemon slice.
Uses a Collins glass.
