Fried rice or Cantonese rice is a dish of steamed rice stir-fried in a wok, often mixed with other ingredients, such as eggs, vegetables, and meat.

Ingredients

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon salt

Pepper to taste

4 tablespoons oil for stir-frying, or as needed

4 cups cold cooked rice

1 tablespoon light soy sauce

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1/4 cup green onions (chopped)

1 Cup Chopped Chicken, beef or sea food.

Directions

Wash and finely chop the green onion.

Lightly beat the eggs with the salt and pepper.

Add 2 tablespoons oil. Add the rice. Stir-fry for a few minutes, using chopsticks or a wooden spoon to break it apart. Stir in the soy sauce and oyster sauce.

When the rice is heated through, add the scrambled egg back into the pan. (wok)

Add Chopped chicken, beef or sea food.

Mix thoroughly. Stir in the green onion.

Serve with Green beans and Sake.
