Pescado frito (literally, "fried fish"), or Pescaíto frito (Andalusian dialect), is a traditional dish from the Southern coast of Spain, typically found in Andalusia, but also in Catalonia, Valencia, the Canary Islands and the Balearic Islands.

Ingredients

1 serrano chile

1 clove garlic

¼ teaspoon ground pepper

1 pinch ground marjoram

1 lemon, juice

3 white fish fillets or three whole fish

2 tablespoons oil

Salt

Pepper

Directions

Wash and clean all vegetables and fish.

Blend the chile, garlic, pepper, salt and lemon juice.

If you prefer, you can grind these ingredients in a mortar. Season the fish fillets with the mixture.

Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat and fry the steaks on both sides until they have browned.

Serve with rice and fresh salad/
