BBQ (Barbecue) is a cooking method and apparatus. Grilling is generally done "hot and fast" over direct heat from low-smoke fuels( Gas, Coal and some case energy). Primitive form of cooking and very delicious.

3 ½ pounds chicken drumsticks

1 cup lemon juice

¼ cup vegetable oil

4 cloves garlic (minced)

1 ½ teaspoons salt

1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper

1 cup water

½ cup coarsely chopped onion

3 tablespoons butter

2 tablespoons packed brown sugar

1 tablespoon yellow mustard

1 tablespoon cider vinegar

¼ Tablespoon black pepper

1 cup ketchup

3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce


First put Chicken on a table and Clean with a towel.

In a 1-gallon zipper-lock food storage bag or topper with top, for marinade, in a small bowl combine 1/2 cup lemon juice, oil, garlic, salt, and black pepper. Pour marinade over chicken. Turn to coat chicken.

Marinate in the refrigerator at least 2 hours, or up to 6 hours.

For barbecue sauce, in a large saucepan combine the water, onion, butter, sugar, mustard, vinegar, and black pepper. Reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, for 20 minutes. Stir in ketchup, Worcestershire sauce and 2 tablespoons lemon juice.

Return to boiling; reduce heat. Simmer, uncovered, Around 50 - 60 minutes.

When waited at least 2 hours, heat a gas grill to medium-high, prepare a charcoal medium-hot fire until the coals form white ash, or heat a broiler.

Place chicken on grill rack over drip pan. Grill for 50 to 60 minutes or until chicken is tender and no longer pink. (180F)

Add BBQ Sauce every 10 minutes each side.

After 30 minutes the chicken is ready double check with a knife prick if you don't see any red color inside ( blood) is ready to serving.

Note: serve with grill potatoes and all kind of vegetables remember if we are cooking with coal is better if we use it completely
